Recently, after careful planning by colleagues of the Administration Department, an employee development and year-end tourism activity with the theme of “pursuing excellence and creating brilliance together”. was put on the agenda, aiming at relaxing the body and mind, relieving stress while enhancing employee cohesion.
The destination of the activity was Qingyuan known as the back garden of the Pearl River Delta, which lasted for two day. Guangdong has experienced a heavy rain for nearly half a month before the activity, however, it was miraculously sunny on the day of activity, grateful for the kind of weather to make everyone's journey as scheduled.
On the first day of the activity, we experienced the taste of the train town with Lingnan folk customs and enjoyed the legendary alkaline medical hot spring bath which can enhance the physique. In the evening, everyone felt the unprecedented relaxation in the gentle sea breeze on Dazhang breach. The new employees also gradually released from the slight restraint at the beginning. Everyone laughed and laughed on the beach and enjoying themselves.
The crossing and drifting on the next day were the projects that everyone was most looking forward to. During the activity, everyone was enthusiastic and showed the unity and cooperation of Hemway people. The drifting of Gulongxia was the climax of the whole activity, in which every two people take a kayak and competes in water games in groups. Everybody laughed and enjoyed themselves freely in the quiet valley. At this point, the pressure of the work and the gap between the new and old colleagues were all disappeared, pursuiting only one purpose:eliminate interference, rush to the end.
The seemingly simple game is also a greatly test for the cooperation of team members, if both of them go to splash water, the kayak will roll over, if just caring the kayak and not take the initiative to attack, they will be splashed by others so that they can not open their eyes and move forward, thus,only a reasonable division of labor and cooperation can ensure smooth progress.
